Privacy notice

This notice explains how we process personal data collected through buildbandits.com. It covers this website only: each project (for example Frontdoor or Bugiardino) has its own privacy notice.

What data we collect

The website uses no cookies and no profiling tools, and fonts are served by the website itself. To count visits and measure page speed we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which collect anonymous, aggregated technical data (page visited, referrer, country, device and browser type, load times) without cookies and without identifying visitors: requests are not linked to each other beyond a single day. We only collect personal data when you write to us through the “Propose” form:

• name;
• email address;
• optional link and message content;
• request type and page language.

To protect the form from spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical data about your device and browser (for example your IP address) only to tell people and automated programs apart. Our hosting provider also records technical access data (IP address, date and time, requested page) for security and to operate the service.

Why we process data and on what legal basis

We use the data you send us only to read your request and reply to you. The legal basis is your request and the consent you give by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). Spam protection and technical logs rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use the data for marketing and we do not pass it on to third parties.

Who processes data on our behalf

• Vercel Inc.: hosting of the website and of the function that receives the form, and anonymous visit and performance statistics (Web Analytics, Speed Insights).
• Resend, Inc.: delivery of the email containing your request to our inbox.
• Cloudflare, Inc.: Turnstile spam protection.

These providers may process data outside the European Union under appropriate safeguards (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep data

The website does not store messages: they only reach our email inbox, where they are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any collaboration that follows.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw your consent, by writing to hello@buildbandits.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
